What is the FTIUM Care Team?
FTIUM Care Team provides access to life-saving mental health services, substance use counseling, health consultation, and more critical resources to:
- DC 82 members
- FTIUM students
- DC 82 & FTIUM staff
It’s an employee assistance program (EAP) aimed at educating DC 82 members, reducing mental health stigmas, and encouraging all craftworkers to seek help in times of difficulty and crisis.
EAP services:
Short-term, face-to-face or telehealth counseling sessions are FREE to you and eligible family members to solve personal problems and workplace issues that affect your ability to work safely and effectively.

- Coordinate care for orthopedic conditions pre- and post-surgical
- Nutrition planning & weight management
- Assistance in the second opinion process
- Help in simplifying the referral process

- 5-10 minutes before your appointment starts, check in at the FTIUM front desk. You will then be walked up to the clinicians’ office.
Walk-in appointments are on a first-come-first-serve basis.
- Clinicians and care coordinators have availability posted on the FTIUM Care Team office door.

ADDISON MERRIAM
CARE COORDINATOR
Bio
Addison earned her Bachelor’s degree in Health Studies with a minor in Psychology from the University of Iowa. During her time at Iowa, she contributed to the Healthy Hawk program as a Student Interventionist and served as the Internship Lead for the Health Coaching Pathway. She also earned her board certification in health and wellness coaching. Addison believes in supporting individuals as they navigate their health journeys with compassion and clarity. She is dedicated to creating strong relationships, empowering clients to advocate for their needs, and ensuring they feel heard and supported every step of the way.
JACOB JOHNSON
CARE COORDINATOR
Bio
Jacob graduated from the University of Minnesota, Duluth, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. He believes it is important to promote positive mental health and possesses the desire to give people the best care he possibly can. Jacob is extremely passionate about the desire to make the world a better place for everybody, regardless of background, struggles, or other challenges.
MEGAN STOW
BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CLINICIAN
Bio
Megan is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC). She earned her master’s degree in forensic psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She has over 15 years of experience in the behavioral health field. Megan believes that no one should have to face life’s issues alone and there is hope for you or your loved ones. It is her honor to provide a listening ear, support, and practical feedback to address life challenges.
